Patrick Wilson will return in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom to play Orm, Arthur Curry’s half-brother to whom the hero fought for the throne of Atlantis in the first film. Speaking with ComicBook.com’s Brandon Davis on the occasion of the Moonfall promotion, Patrick Wilson offered some insight into the much-anticipated sequel.

Although the actor kept his lips sealed on the plot details of the film, Wilson said the sequel has some “crazy” fighting sequences and explained how the success of the original prompted James Wan to make the sequel. See what Wilson said below:

“The movie is going to be a blast, we had so much fun making it, I’ll say it. James established what he wanted to do with the first one, it was clearly a success, and it was like, ‘Okay, now let’s push it.’ [Laughs] So every silly little moment, sincere moment, the moment of action, set pieces are amazing. , the stunts were crazy. The sequences of the fight scenes are crazy and just fantastic ”.

New details of the second season of “Loki”, the series about the God of Mischief

The second part will begin filming at Pinewood Studios, located in the United Kingdom

After a successful first season (available on Disney +), what would be the second part of the fiction about Loki is already being prepared. Although the exact date for the premiere of the second season of this project is not known, it is known that they will start filming during the European summer in England. Although there has been no formal announcement by Disney or Marvel, the specialized publication Backstage had access to information confirming the start of the recordings of this series.

The end of the first season left Loki in a different timeline than the one initially known. This came after he and Sylvie (a female variant of Loki, played by Sophia Di Martino), were confronted by a version of Kang the Conqueror, who warned them that other variants of him weren’t as easy to fight.

On the other hand, Sylvie seems to have been sent to a different reality than Loki. To this, we must add everything that the Multiverse implies and many questions that will surely be answered in this second season.

There is still no estimated release date or first images of the second season of Loki, but it has been said that the production will be in charge of the working group that participated in the first season. That means it’s likely to be directed again by Sarah Finn and Krista Husar.

The character of Loki (played by Tom Hiddleston) comes from the Thor saga and was the first relevant adversary of The Avengers within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This occurred when he tried to dominate the land and led to the battle of New York. The character went back and forth between films, at times being an adversary, at other times an anti-hero, and he also became a hero on some occasions.

With the premiere of the series on Disney +, that duality in his personality was maintained, but two important details in his existence were also presented: the Time Variation Authority and the appearance of Kang the Conqueror.

The Korean production has viewers from different countries hooked

Just a few days ago, ‘All of Us Are Dead‘ premiered on Netflix, a Korean series that bets on an apocalyptic story in which zombies are the protagonists. The production begins with a normal school day, and the young people attend as if it were just another day.

However, everything changes when a student dies before her eyes and revives… but as a zombie. From that moment on, she will begin her hell, trying to survive and escape from a pack that wants to devour them.

If you have not yet seen this story that mixes suspense very well with the action and other genres, here we tell you which are the characters that make this plot something special.

Park Ji-hoo as Nam On-jo

She is a young woman whose father is a firefighter, so she will have to use all the techniques she learned from him to try to survive, and in the process, help her companions to do so. She is a friend of Lee Cheong-san, and although he wants to have something romantic with her, the truth is that Nam On-jo only wants an honest friendship. And who is Lee Cheong-san?

Yoon Chan-young as Lee Cheong-san

He and Nam On-jo have been friends since they were very young. However, in recent years the feelings of this young man have been transformed. And although this teenager does not reciprocate, he is still behind her, becoming an ally of hers in this battle against the zombies.

Cho Yi-hyun as Choi Nam-Ra

This young woman is characterized by her tranquility and her intelligence. At the beginning of the series, we see her as one of the leaders of the students, who always remains calm despite the situation. However, with the passing of the chapters, viewers will see a radical change in her.

Park Solomon as Lee Soo-hyeok

He is quite an athletic and intrepid character, and that is precisely why he will become a great ally to face the zombie chaos within the school. In addition, he also promises to steal the show for being one of the most gallant.

Yoo In-Soo as Yoon Gwi-Nam

This character can be considered as the most bully of the school. He is the kind of student who is always looking for a new person to bully him. Incredibly, these violent attitudes will become a great weapon to face supernatural enemies.

Lee Yoo-mi as Na Yeon

This teenager could be defined as the antagonist of this story since she is the typical conceited student, who is always looking at others over her shoulder. Also, she is always making up gossip, which annoys her classmates quite a bit.

Spider-Man: No Way Home, Thor: Ragnarok Easter Egg confirmed

The spread of the script for Spider-Man: No Way Home continues to provide interesting details about Jon Watts’ film. Notably, page 42 of the script confirmed that the Tom Holland movie features an Easter Egg of Thor: Ragnarok.

Here is the text that confirms that a relic that shatters at the entrance to the Sanctum Sanctorum is the same one we saw in Thor: Ragnarok.

While searching for Odin in Thor: Ragnarok, the God of Thunder and his cheating brother end up in the Sanctum Sanctorum. There, Doctor Strange questions Thor as to why he would bring a threat like Loki back to Earth. During the conversation, Thor rhetorically asks “So Earth has wizards now?” as he fumbles with a relic, which then ends up in many pieces on the table, the same relic that falls apart in No Way Home.

This Easter Egg is just one of the many MCU references in No Way Home. From Tony Stark’s Dum-E robot in Happy Hogan’s apartment to Homecoming’s Liz Toomes appearing on the cover of a magazine criticizing Peter, No Way Home’s attention to detail is impressive.

The Batman, Pattinson explains why he played The Dark Knight

Robert Pattinson admitted he agreed to do The Batman because he was looking for something different in his acting career. Also because he has always loved the character

The release of The Batman at the cinema is soon (March 4) and the statements of its protagonists are multiplying, in addition to mysterious posters and scenes. One of the most anticipated and sought after is clearly Robert Pattinson – also expected by the Caudine forks of the fans – who plays The Dark Knight

Joined by Total Film for an interview, Pattinson revealed the particular reasons that convinced him to accept his first-ever role in a cinecomic. Having called Batman a “bizarre creature of the night” who “basically lives in the sewers“.

“I was aiming for something quite different [than the roles played up to that point]. Of course [Batman] is the crown jewel of roles you can get as an actor. But I thought I was in no way close to playing him, especially considering the other roles that appealed to me at the time. Even my agents used to tell me: ‘Interesting. I thought you wanted to play only extravagant characters’. And I replied: ‘But he [Batman] is!’ “.

Pattinson also talked about Bruce Wayne and the intrinsic reasons that motivate the character:

“He has a huge trauma within him and has built an intricate psychological mechanism to deal with it. He’s kind of bad self-therapy, which eventually led to him being Batman as a form of self-help. “

In a statement to Esquire a few days ago, the director of the film, Matt Reeves, spoke of Pattinson’s casting and, in particular, the reactions of fans that followed the announcement that he would play the protagonist:

“Each actor chosen for this role has received some setbacks. The people who were excited were because they knew Rob [Pattinson ]’s work after Twilight. People who weren’t excited weren’t because they didn’t know Rob’s work after Twilight. ”

The Batman: now it’s close to the official release

The Batman‘ is one of the most anticipated films of this year: a cinecomic that reinvents the DC Comics universe by bringing an alternate version of The Dark Knight, played by Robert Pattinson (Maps to the Stars, Twilight). The character this time is dominated by revenge, but also reveals a more investigative side that we had only seen within the Arkham video games and comics.

Furthermore, within the realization, the protagonist will face a conspicuous number of antagonists among which we include the Penguin (Colin Farrell), Catwoman (Zoe Kravitz), and above all Edward Nygma, also known as the Riddler (Paul Dano), which seems to be the most important of all.

Already in the footage of The Batman, this villain has proven to create several problems for the superhero, killing mercilessly and repeatedly testing the protagonist’s mind. Well, while we are waiting for the film to arrive in theaters (shortly now).

A Twitter user, this Nervatel, noticed that by pointing the ultraviolet light on the most recent poster of the film, the one depicting Batman and Catwoman, a message appeared from the ‘Riddler who reads: “You are a part of this. Find out why “. In addition to this, a series of disturbing question marks, symbols of the villain, crown the writings.

The Batman is produced by 6th & Idaho Productions, DC Comics, and DC Entertainment with distribution by Warner Bros. The cast, on the other hand, also sees the involvement of Andy Serkis who plays the butler Alfred Pennyworth, John Turturro in the part of Carmine Falcone, Jeffrey Wright playing Commissioner James Gordon, Peter Sarsgaard playing the face of District Attorney Gil Colson, and many more. The realization will reach Italian cinemas on March 3, 2022, one day before the American release.

Iron Man, disappointment for fans: ''Tony's return is out of the question''

The writers of Spider-Man: No Way Home are clear: Marvel does not intend to continue relying on Tony Stark.

According to the writers of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Marvel has no plans to bring Downey Jr.’s Iron Man back to life.

The first was X-Men: Days of Future Past. The film had created an alternative timeline and reality to the facts shown up to that point in the films, greatly complicating matters for less attentive viewers. Then it was the turn of Spider-Man: No Way Home and Marvel who, with the “cinematic birth” of the multiverses, opened the way to infinite alternative realities to those told up to that moment.

Only in this way were fans able to see the three Spider-Man on the same screen and at the same time. Marvel has already demonstrated with comics that from a theoretical point of view with the multiverses everything is possible: even resurrect characters beloved by fans, whose farewell – although long anticipated – has never been completely overcome. We are talking, of course, of the Iron Man, played by Robert Downey Jr.

On the subject, the writers of the last chapter of Spider-Man, Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, expressed themselves during an interview with The Q&A with Jeff Goldsmith

“I honestly believe that this [the possibility of bringing Downey Jr.] is out of the question for Marvel, at least as far as we know. They just don’t like to summon [Tony Stark] all the time. Sure, Tony’s shadow showed up even after Avengers Endgame – and we dealt with that in Far From Home – but I think we all feel the same way: we can’t continue to rely on Tony. “

The screenwriters wanted to tell another story, leaving space and centrality to another character, namely that of Aunt May. In fact, it is she who pronounces the famous aphorism – “From great powers comes great responsibility” – which makes Spider-Man responsible.

According to the two writers, Tony’s presence would not change anything: “The moral momentum of his [Peter Parker] life is May and for the first time he [Peter Parker] has been tested on the ability to truly behave following the code she taught him “.

Is Ghost Rider back to the cinema? On social fans in raptures

Fans are trending a rumor that Marvel is thinking of a return of Ghost Rider. Thanks to the fans, the rumor of a possible return to the cinema of Ghost Rider is trending on Twitter

On social media campaigns cyclically erupt among fans clamoring to see certain wishes fulfilled: from the Snyder Cut of the Justice League to the return of Charlie Cox as Daredevil (later in Spider-Man: No Way Home). Now the attention of fans seems to have turned to another character from the Marvel Universe, so much so that in the past few hours the rumor of a possible return in live-action by Johnny Blaze, a.k.a. has been trending on Twitter

Ghost Rider. In reality, not only – as is to be expected in these cases – there has been no confirmation from Marvel, but there is even a lack of elements (or almost) that could give rise to rumors of this type.

After Nicolas Cage, who played Ghost Rider in two films (2007’s Ghost Rider and 2011’s Ghost Rider), it was Diego Luna’s turn to take on the role of the iconic character in some episodes of the TV series Agents of SHIELD.

Interviewed a few months ago on the possibility of returning to play Ghost Rider in a Marvel film, the actor had confessed that he had not been contacted – at least until that moment – for a possible return: “I never say no [to the possibility to reinterpret Ghost Rider]. I always say it depends on the story “.

A few weeks ago, thanks to a really successful fan trailer, the character of Ghost Rider was in trend on social networks. On that occasion, fans had asked Marvel to even entrust the role to Keanu Reeves who was actually very convincing in the fan trailer.

After all, the actor himself had admitted that he would have liked to become part of the Marvel world because “extraordinary directors work there”. Maybe it’s not proof that Marvel is really thinking about a Ghost Rider movie, but certainly, all these clues are unmistakable: fans would not wait to see it.

Spider-Man: No Way Home, Zendaya: ''I was a mom for Tom Holland''

On the set of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Zendaya felt like the mother leaving her child in kindergarten on the first day of school. Only her son was Tom Holland. Zendaya reveals a particular Spider-Man: No Way Home moment where she felt like she was Tom Holland’s mom

The hottest couple of the moment – both on-screen and in real life – formed by Tom Holland and Zendaya are holding court almost everywhere, from promotional interviews for Spider-Man: No Way Home to gossip sites. And every time they open their mouths they reveal more tender and adorable details about their relationship – both business and private – that make fans fall in love with them even more while detractors put up with them less and less.

This time it was Zendaya’s turn, who in the course of an interview with Marvel Entertainment told of a particular moment in the making of Spider-Man: No Way Home in which she felt no longer Tom Holland’s partner, but even a mother.

The episode reported by Zendaya concerns one of the first days of work on the set and in particular the moment in which Tom Holland met the other two Spider-ManTobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield – and did the first rehearsal with them. Here are Zendaya’s words:

“It was fun, that first day, I was nervous for you [Tom Holland]. Because we had to give it a try and Jacob and I [Batalon, the Ned in the movie] felt like we were your parents and we left you in kindergarten for the first day of school. We were like: ‘Ah, I hope you like the other children’ or ‘I hope you don’t come home crying’. We went there and I took pictures of you three [Holland, Maguire, and Garfield] so you could have them. It was nice”.

Several times in the course of various interviews, Tom Holland himself has spoken of the relationship that has been established both on and off the set between him and the other two interpreters of Spider-Man. Jokingly (but it is not clear to what extent) he even admitted that he had created a group chats with the two on WhatsApp, in which, however, he is the only one to write.

Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3, Dave Bautista: ''With this film, we come full circle''

Dave Bautista, the interpreter of Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy, argues that “all things must come to an end”

Already James Gunn, the director of the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy, a few days ago had evoked in the course of an interview a sense of definitive ending around the third chapter of the saga, claiming (or threatening) that fans would see for the last time that team of Guardians.

Now it’s the turn of Dave Bautista, the strong interpreter of Drax the Destroyer, who expressed himself in a very similar way during a chat for the ComicBook podcast “Phase Zero“. Here are his words.

“It’s our third film, we’ll stop it. It was a nice trip with some bumps. I can not wait. The cast and of course the director, James Gunn, are like family to me. With these films, my acting career practically began. A circle is about to come full circle and I can’t wait to do it. It’s a bittersweet feeling. I mean, I’ve been working on the Guardians since 2013. And when [the third chapter] comes out it’s going to be 2023, so it’s a 10-year journey. You know, all things have to come to an end. And I can’t wait to do it alongside my friends and family “.

A few months ago Dave Bautista had stated that with the third chapter of the Guardians of the Galaxy he would have abandoned the role of Drax (also thanks to a no longer very young age), but that the character could have been played by another actor. A possibility that director James Gunn himself had firmly opposed, arguing that no one could replace Bautista.

Of course, before the film arrives in theaters (the release is scheduled for May 2023), fans will be able to see Drax the Destroyer both in Thor: Love and Thunder – which will be released this year, on July 8 – and in the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, due out on Disney + later this year.
