Tom Holland: ''I want to see Spider-Man and Daredevil fight together''

Tom Holland, one of the hottest actors of the moment thanks to his lead role in Spider-Man: No Way Home, is an avid fan of the Netflix series Daredevil

Daredevil remains one of the most beautiful Marvel series ever shot: yes, this despite the success of the new series streaming on Disney +! Spider-Man himself, or actor Tom Holland, also seems to confirm this.

Tom, who continues to be one of the biggest stars in the world after the theatrical release of Spider-Man: No Way Home by Jon Watts, is a huge fan of the adventures of the Devil in Hell’s Kitchen. The return of Charlie Cox, the actor who plays Devil in the Netflix TV series, No Way Home, bodes well for a shared cinematic future.

Here’s what Tom Holland said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in which he was asked what he thought of a possible team of Spider-Man and Daredevil:

“Thanks for asking. Nobody had really asked me before. Working with Charlie was incredibly exciting. I was a huge fan of the Netflix series and he is an incredible actor. He did a really amazing job on his character and even though it was a small cameo, he served to imagine what could be in the future. “

Tom Holland, therefore, would be delighted to share the screen with Charlie Cox in the future, having found their experience working together absolutely satisfying:

“We really stopped the scene during filming. We were just sitting at the table, together, reading our lines. It felt like an acting workshop with people I really admire and shooting the scene with Charlie was really fun! I found it amazing how he just immediately returned as a character that I am a huge fan of and that he obviously loves madly! In short, he was really nice and I can only hope for a new alliance soon! “

And you, are you ready to see Spider-Man and Daredevil on the same screen again?

Spider-Man: No Way Home, Thor: Ragnarok Easter Egg confirmed

The spread of the script for Spider-Man: No Way Home continues to provide interesting details about Jon Watts’ film. Notably, page 42 of the script confirmed that the Tom Holland movie features an Easter Egg of Thor: Ragnarok.

Here is the text that confirms that a relic that shatters at the entrance to the Sanctum Sanctorum is the same one we saw in Thor: Ragnarok.

While searching for Odin in Thor: Ragnarok, the God of Thunder and his cheating brother end up in the Sanctum Sanctorum. There, Doctor Strange questions Thor as to why he would bring a threat like Loki back to Earth. During the conversation, Thor rhetorically asks “So Earth has wizards now?” as he fumbles with a relic, which then ends up in many pieces on the table, the same relic that falls apart in No Way Home.

This Easter Egg is just one of the many MCU references in No Way Home. From Tony Stark’s Dum-E robot in Happy Hogan’s apartment to Homecoming’s Liz Toomes appearing on the cover of a magazine criticizing Peter, No Way Home’s attention to detail is impressive.

Spider-Man: No Way Home, Zendaya: ''I was a mom for Tom Holland''

On the set of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Zendaya felt like the mother leaving her child in kindergarten on the first day of school. Only her son was Tom Holland. Zendaya reveals a particular Spider-Man: No Way Home moment where she felt like she was Tom Holland’s mom

The hottest couple of the moment – both on-screen and in real life – formed by Tom Holland and Zendaya are holding court almost everywhere, from promotional interviews for Spider-Man: No Way Home to gossip sites. And every time they open their mouths they reveal more tender and adorable details about their relationship – both business and private – that make fans fall in love with them even more while detractors put up with them less and less.

This time it was Zendaya’s turn, who in the course of an interview with Marvel Entertainment told of a particular moment in the making of Spider-Man: No Way Home in which she felt no longer Tom Holland’s partner, but even a mother.

The episode reported by Zendaya concerns one of the first days of work on the set and in particular the moment in which Tom Holland met the other two Spider-ManTobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield – and did the first rehearsal with them. Here are Zendaya’s words:

“It was fun, that first day, I was nervous for you [Tom Holland]. Because we had to give it a try and Jacob and I [Batalon, the Ned in the movie] felt like we were your parents and we left you in kindergarten for the first day of school. We were like: ‘Ah, I hope you like the other children’ or ‘I hope you don’t come home crying’. We went there and I took pictures of you three [Holland, Maguire, and Garfield] so you could have them. It was nice”.

Several times in the course of various interviews, Tom Holland himself has spoken of the relationship that has been established both on and off the set between him and the other two interpreters of Spider-Man. Jokingly (but it is not clear to what extent) he even admitted that he had created a group chats with the two on WhatsApp, in which, however, he is the only one to write.

On the set of Spider-Man: No Way Home, love was officially born: no, not romantic love. Let’s talk about the great friendship between Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield!

Andrew Garfield, in every interview he has given over the past couple of months, has done nothing but speak well – if not very well – of his experience of him on the set of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

In particular, an affectionate friendship seems to have arisen between the two most “mature” spideys: Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. In fact, in the last interview, Andrew spoke in a very emotional way about his experience on the set of No Way Home in the company of his colleagues.

The interview that thrilled fans and even Andrew himself is the one released on The Jess Cagle Show, in which he opened up a lot about his admiration for Tobey Maguire. The return to Spider-Man: No Way Home of the original Spider-Man has in fact moved Andrew, a big fan of his acting skills.

Garfield confesses that he was very disappointed with Tobey’s choice to leave the screen, has always found him a great actor. Luckily for him, the sweet Amazing Spider-Man had the opportunity, a few weeks before the shooting, to work on their respective characters with Tobey, building a deep friendship.

Here’s what Andrew Garfield said about his experience on the set of Spider-Man: No Way Home: “I felt protected. It was really very strange. I didn’t feel like we were shooting this epic Spider-Man movie. Instead, I felt like Tobey and I was working on a relationship between our characters through imagination and play.

The atmosphere was very, very playful as if we were two friends playing Spider-Man imagining when it would be cool to do this or that. I think that he too, through this experience, reconnected with acting, his love for it, as if time had never passed! “
