Thaggedhe Le Story:
Ishwar (Naveen Chandra) is a software employee. He marries his elder sister’s daughter Devi (Divya Pillai). After taking seven steps in a hurry, he calls all his colleagues to his house and throws a party. He is shocked to see Lizzy (Ananya Sen Gupta) at the party. Lizzy introduces herself to Devi as Ishwar’s friend… then starts blackmailing Ishwar?
Where are the videos of both of them? What is their story? Who is the dead body of the woman found in Ishwar’s house? Who killed her? What is the relationship between Ishwar’s life, the Dandupalayam gang, and the drug mafia? What did police officer Chalapati (Ravi Shankar) do? What are the truths told by Ishwar in the police investigation? is the rest of the movie.
Analysis (Thaggedhe Le Telugu Review): ‘Thaggedhe Le’ trailer created curiosity. The ‘Dandupalayam’ gang added to the murder mystery got more interest. The movie also started interestingly. But, for a while, the movie went aside from the original story like a derailed wagon.
The hero has a corpse in his house. He destroys the evidence and calls the police. They take him and start asking questions. There is an opportunity to take the story forward while giving a thrill to the audience. But, the director did not do that. Instead of going the usual way, he added comedy. ‘Getup’ Sheenu, ‘Auto’ Ram Prasad, ’30 Years’ Prithvi’s scenes with double meaning dialogues were not impressive at all.
Naveen Chandra and Divya Pellai’s scenes seem routine. I don’t understand why my brother-in-law means so much love. If such logic comes to mind while watching the movie, remove it. Do you think that the audience will understand because they have seen it in many movies!? In the cut-paste type, all the first-off has been removed. The concept of blackmail is nothing new. I see it in regular news. It is surprising that Srinivas Raju who made ‘Dandupalayam’ deals with such a concept in a more regular routine style.
As a story, there are interesting points and twists in ‘Taghgede Le’. But, it was not brought to the screen properly. Background music and production values are good. But the remix of Charan Arjun’s ‘Mate Mantramu’ song and the way it was shot will trouble the Ilayaraja – Bharathiraja fans.
How did the actors do? :
Ravi Shankar is the real hero of the movie. Naveen Chandra has done well in the role of a software employee. But…with one pre-climax episode, all eyes will fall on Ravi Shankar. In the fight with the ‘Dandupalayam’ gang, he got angry. Raja Ravindra played a regular role as a policeman. Makarand Deshpande, Pooja Gandhi, and Ravi Kale shine once again in the ‘Dandupalayam’ gang characters.
There is same intensity in their acting. Divya Pillai as a traditional wife and Ananya Sen Gupta as a glamor doll. It seems that both of them overacted. ‘Getup’ Sheenu and ‘Auto’ Ram Prasad as the hero’s friends failed to make people laugh. Prithvi played the role of a Samaram-like doctor in ’30 Years’.
What is the final say? : Fans of ‘Dandupalayam’ series will love the pre-climax of ‘Taghgede Le’. Ravi Shankar’s acting too! Srinivas Raju directed the action sequence in Daba at the level of those movies. If the pre-climax is missed… the rest of the movie will be very difficult to impress. In some scenes, the song of Mate Mantra gives a headache. Despite the content of the story… Srinivas Raju has failed to bring it to the screen and tell it with interest. Romance (romantic scenes) did not drive the film.
After the success of ‘Kjief’, ‘Vikrant Rona’, and ‘Kantara’, a film coming from the Kannada industry… the audience is getting interested. Banaras Story:
Dhani (Sonal Montero) is a very nice girl. Participating in a singing reality show. Siddharth (Zaid Khan) approaches her to win a bet. He says that we will be husband and wife in the future and that he has come from the future to the present. Dhani believes everything Siddharth says… takes him to his room. Siddharth takes an intimate photo while she sleeps.
The photo is going viral on social media due to the friend’s work. Comments and trolls will come on Dhani’s character. Dhani leaves Hyderabad and goes to Babai’s house in Banaras. Realizing his wrongdoing, Siddharth goes to apologize to her. What happened after that? How did Siddharth get into time travel/time loop? You have to watch the movie to know.
Analysis (Banaras Telugu Review): ‘Banaras’ which starts as a simple love story takes unexpected turns…surprising the audience…and finally ends on a happy note. It cannot be said that it engages without turning the gaze from starting to ending! There are loopholes in the middle. But… this movie gives a different experience.
Banaras
Even if it is shot in Bangalore or Bhimavaram instead of Banaras (Kashi), there will be no change in the story. But… the director chose Kashi’s background to tell the philosophy. Kashi has been used well to show a new world on screen. He got full support from cinematographer Advaita Gurumurthy.
The visuals are good. The song ‘Tholi Tholi Valape…’ has been shot in a romantic way. Filmed in Kashi Ganga, ‘Kannu Ahierina Pata… Kannathallidi Jolapata’ has heart-touching visuals and Kasar’s Shyam lyrics. After ‘Kantara’, B Ajanish Loknath has once again come to the Telugu audience with good songs. Build values are good.
The story is more than the story written by director Jayathirtha… The philosophy and twists in the story are interesting. There have been a few movies before with time travel/loop. But… he gave a different touch to that concept. To be honest… there is nothing as interesting as the start of the movie. Even if the hero says that it is time travel, the audience forgets it after a while.

How did the actors do? : Zaid Khan’s first film as a hero. It must be said that he gave a good performance for the first movie. He looked handsome. Emotions are also shown well. Heroine Sonal Montero looked glamorous in the song ‘Tholi Toli Valape…’ which comes after the interval. The rest of the movie impresses with acting rather than glamour.
The emotional scenes are well done. Zaid and Sonal pair well. There is chemistry between the two. Devaraj, who appeared as the hero’s father, and Achyut Kumar, who played the heroine’s father, are somewhat familiar to the Telugu audience. Sujay Shastri’s performance in the key scenes is good. The climax is stretched to philosophize.
What is the final say? : To talk about ‘Banaras’ in one piece… you get the feeling of watching two movies on one ticket. While the first half is a cute and routine musical love story… the second half is a thrilling time travel/loop entertainer. ‘Banaras’ has loopholes. Apart from that… there are good songs, visuals, emotions, and artists’ performances. There was an element of surprise in the second half.
One can try to go to theaters once a weekend for time to pass. If there are known heroes and heroines in the Telugu audience, they will connect with the story more.

As it approaches, new details about the film are slowly revealed. After learning more about the main characters and the special effects used, the official duration of the film has now been revealed. Avatar: The water route will last 3 hours and 10 minutes, thus exceeding the first Avatar by about half an hour, which instead had a duration of about 2 hours and 42 minutes. If such a time can be scary, it is good to remember that Cameron’s Titanic, in its extended version, reaches a total of 3 hours and 47 minutes.
The director has therefore accustomed us to, particularly long films, which however offer a very high degree of entertainment, such as to make the seemingly insurmountable duration more bearable. As she prepares to make her return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o appears to be poised to make her debut in another popular film franchise: A Quiet Place.
According to what was reported by Deadline, it seems that the actress is in the final stages of the negotiation that will lead her to star in the next chapter of the saga, currently titled A Quiet Place: Day One. The spinoff will be directed and written by Pig director Michael Sarnoski.
Not much more is known about this project, except that it will be in all respects a spin-off, with new characters and new situations always set in the world invaded by the monstrous aliens already seen in A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place 2 Furthermore, as the title suggests, the story of the film will probably take place during the first day of the invasion, already briefly shown in the second of the two films made to date.
The hope, therefore, seems that this new film will consolidate the narrative universe of A Quiet Place, establishing the best for further future chapters. As has been known for months, the main villain of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2018 blockbuster film, will be the mighty Namor. The character, played by actor Tenoch Huerta has been described as a mutant, lord of the deep ocean, where he built his own extraordinary empire.
There was a lot of anticipation for the debut of this character, who finally got his own space within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Many, however, could not help but wonder why he was only introduced now, at the end of Phase 4.
During the premiere of the film, producer and head of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige provided an answer to that question. Feige has in fact declared that the character had been crushed in a war on rights between the Studios and that when a film entirely dedicated to him was hypothesized at the end of the nineties, this was not realized precisely because of the contrasts between Marvel Studios and Universal, which at the time held part of the rights to Namor.
Recalling the episode, Feige said that “we even commissioned a screenplay at the time, but the timing was never quite as good as the proposal in general.” If now Namor has finally arrived on the big screen, much of the credit seems to be attributed to director Ryan Coogler, who would have strongly wanted him as the villain of this sequel.
