House of the Dragon: Henry Cavill responds to rumors

The actor has returned to the spotlight for his return as Superman and the abandonment of The Witcher series.

House of the Dragon is the new series in the Game of Thrones universe: in particular, the creation of the small screen by George R. R. Martin and Ryan Condal is both a spin-off and a prequel to Game of Thrones as it tells the facts which are antecedents to the pivotal work, precisely events that occurred almost 200 years earlier and devote the entire history to the dynastic struggles of the Targaryen.

The product, inspired in detail by the anthological text Fire and Blood, was particularly appreciated by the public and critics, obtaining astonishing results in terms of ratings, demonstrating that fans were looking forward to returning to Westeros.

House of the Dragon hit the small screen on August 21, 2022

That said, for some months now there have been some rather insistent rumors about two exceptional participants in the second season of House of the Dragon. We are referring to Elizabeth Olsen and Henry Cavill. If the former has already largely denied her entry into the fantasy title, in a recent interview for Josh Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused podcast, the star said about her. Unfortunately, like her colleague, the artist denied that these rumors were true.

To be honest, when I was watching House of the Dragon, I was like ‘I feel like a lot of these guys could make some really good Witchers …’. I think it would be nice to be in Westeros, really. I don’t think there’s room for me in there, though.

We remind you that the making aired for the first time on August 21, 2022, on both HBO and Sky Atlantic and ended on October 23, 2022. The show, produced by GRRM, Bastard Sword, 1:26 Pictures Inc., sees among the executive producers Miguel Sapochnik, Ryan Condal, George R. R. Martin, Ron Schmidt, Jocelyn Diaz, Sara Hess, and Vince Gerardis.
