Cobra

Cobra Movie Review: Chiyan Vikram starrer much-awaited movie Cobra was released in theaters today 31st August after several postponements. It has already been revealed in the trailer that Vikram is once again seen in different getups. It has been a long time since Vikram’s movies hit and all his recent films have not fared well at the box office.

But his recent OTT release Mahaan was considered a hit and the audience was excited to see Vikram’s performance as Mahan Gandhi. As his new movie Cobra is now running in theatres, let’s check out the detailed review of this movie to know if it can be seen in theatres.

The Story

Mathi works as a mathematics teacher in the city and leads a very ordinary life. On the other side of the story, multiple crimes take place in the city and after a thorough investigation, the police department does not find a single clue. What is Mati, who works as a mathematician, related to the crimes happening in the city, who is Bhavana, and how did the police officer Aslan deal with this case, to know the answer to these questions, you have to watch the movie completely.

Cobra Movie Actors

Cobra stars Chiyan Vikram in the lead role while Srinidhi Shetty, Irrfan Pathan, K.S. Ravikumar, Roshan Mathew, Anandraj, Robo Shankar, Mia George, Mirnalini Ravi, Meenakshi Govindarajan are playing other important roles. The movie is directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu and produced by SS Lalith Kumar. The film has music by A. R. Rahman and cinematography by Harish Kannan. Bhuvan Srinivasan is the editor.

Custody

How about the movie Cobra?

Although the story of this movie is very simple, Cobra starts off interestingly as it is narrated with a non-linear screenplay, which keeps you guessing what will happen next in the story. A few moments in the first half of the film engage us and the interval scene adds to the interest. But later half of the film it loses track and becomes more predictable.

Some action scenes in the last part of the movie are pleasing. To know the significance of Vikram’s hallucination point and different looks in the film, you have to watch the movie in theaters and we don’t want to spoil your excitement by revealing everything in this review.

Chiyan Vikram once again proves why everyone admires him for his versatility when it comes to acting. The makeup of his multiple getups is not impressive in some frames, but with Vikram’s performance, we completely forget these minor flaws. Srinidhi Shetty seems okay in her limited role.

Cricketer Irfan Pathan is seen in an important role and he manages to pull off his role in some scenes, but his inexperience can be seen in some other scenes. Roshan Mathew impresses with his performance in the negative role. Robo Shankar makes us laugh in some scenes. Mrinalini Ravi and other actors have done their roles well as required.

Technically Cobra is good. Music director A.R. Rahman composed beautiful songs in this movie, but the song ‘Tarangini’ remains my favorite song. One of the major highlights of the film is the background music by Rahman, which elevates the scenes as much as they need to and seems apt with the emotions on screen.

Harish Kannan’s cinematography is good but not entirely satisfying, the scenes shot in foreign locations look great on screen. The production values are good, but the movie team seems to have paid a bit more attention to the VFX. The fights composed by Dilip Subbarayan will surely attract the mass audience.

Ajay Gnanamuthu, who had earlier given Demant Colony and Anjali CBI, has partially succeeded in entertaining the audience this time. Although there is nothing new in the storyline of the movie, he has somehow hooked the audience with the screenplay.

Overall, Cobra is interesting to watch in parts and seems to hold up well when compared to Chiyan Vikram’s last few theatrical releases.

Plus Points:

  • Chian Vikram
  • Music, BGM
  • Fights

Minus Points:

  • Old story
  • Some predictable scenes
  • VFX

Movie Rating: 3.25/5

House of The Dragon

House of The Dragon Episode 2 Review: Last night, simultaneously with the airing in the United States on HBO and exclusively on Sky and streaming on NOW, the second installment of the new Game of Thrones prequel series, House of the Dragon, was released. The series is inspired by the novel “Fire and Blood” by George R.R. Martin, who is also the creator of the series along with Ryan J. Condal.

The series is precisely a prequel set 200 years earlier than seen in Game of Thrones during the reign of King Viserys I Targaryen and follows the bloody story that will lead to the outbreak of the “Dance of Dragons”, the civil war for the succession to the Throne. of Spade. After talking to you more generally about the series in our review of the first six episodes (which you can read here), it’s time to analyze the second episode in more detail!

[The review below features several plot SPOILERS for House of the Dragon 1 × 02: The Rogue Prince]

In this second episode, we have the first time skip of the series: in fact, a year and a half have passed since the queen’s death and Viserys Targaryen (Paddy Considine), the current ruler of the seven kingdoms, is asked to remarry to keep her image strong, which has deteriorated over the years and now may have an enemy at the gates.

Indeed, as Lord Corlys Velaryon (Steve Toussaint) points out, a dangerous army is approaching the seven kingdoms from across the sea and risks becoming a problem first for his house and then for King’s Landing. Meanwhile, Lord Velaryon always tries to push the king to marry his young daughter, but the king’s attention is attracted by a very different woman, Lady Alicent Hightower (Emily Carey).

House of The Dragon Episode 2 – HBO Max

As if that weren’t enough, Prince Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith) moved to Dragonstone after the king’s attack, taking possession of it. In all of this, Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen (Milly Alcock), the actual next pretender to the throne as decided by King Viserys, finds herself in a complicated position again when she decides to disobey the advice of the King’s Hand, Sir Otto Hightower (Rhys Ifans) and he decides to take matters into his own hands with Uncle Daemon.

The second installment of House of the Dragon again demonstrates the great writing skills of Martin and Condal, who after defining the starting points of the story, the motives of the various characters involved, and their position in the circle of power of Westeros, moves on to messing up the cards again.

With a threat at the gates, a succession questioned, and a prince removed from King’s Landing, all the conditions are created so that internal conflicts can actually begin to develop and magnify, while the external ones arrive inexorably, ready to shake Westeros. In all this, the second episode finally also gives us a greater taste of some characters that we have seen very little in the first, such as Lord Velaryon, played by the talented Steve Toussaint, and Lady Velaryon, played by Eve Best.

Lord Velaryon proves to be an immensely complicated character, much more than the one that revealed his role in the council, a role that we see close to him. Velaryon is one of the last of one of the oldest dynasties of Westeros and therefore suffers subjection to the Targaryens, but he is also a partly honorable man who, worried about Westeros, finds himself making questionable choices in terms of alliances.

House of The Dragon Episode 2 – HBO Max

Instead, Lady Velaryon, the “queen who was denied the throne” here takes a more interesting dimension, and shares with her husband the contempt for her house’s forced subjection to the Targaryens, but seems much closer to Rhaenyra than she could. understand the first episode, certainly always a conflictual relationship but which shows how the two women are not so different but are partly experiencing the same drama.

Even Daemon, played by the talented Matt Smith, in this episode proves to be a complicated character, certainly violent and over the top, a somewhat rogue prince, but who understands his inferior position and suffers from it. The discourse with his niece, but also the one with his lover, reveals a large part of the psyche of the character, showing a character that is not mad but more embittered by his life.

This second installment again confirms all the good impressions of the first, House of The Dragon is truly Game of Thrones at its highest level. These two episodes are reminiscent in some ways of the subterfuges of the first season of the mother series, with a hint of the wind of war blowing in the background, and of alliances between nobles ready to oust a too weak king. The pilot, who was not a pilot, had demonstrated the potential of such a prequel and the second episode presses the accelerator constantly, but without giving an idea of excessive speed, a big problem in the last two seasons of the parent series.

House of The Dragon Movierulz | Episode 2

House of The Dragon

House of  The Dragon Episode 2 Review: In the new episode of House of the Dragon “The shadow of the throne” we would dare to call it more interlocutory than what we saw in the premiere without huge revelations, but there are certainly interesting aspects to analyze with first of all the return of the initials with the iconic Game of Thrones theme and a new sequence dedicated to the Targaryen family.

We understood that, at least at the beginning, the dragons will not be engaged in battles but are simply the representation of power and used as a “threat” by those who dare to oppose the Targaryen on duty.

The investment in House of The Dragon was immense (200 million euros for the first season), especially as regards the special effects in making them and the result is sensational. The technical quality of House of the Dragon when compared to the first episodes of Game of Thrones here is clearly superior, also because here we are talking about a budget of four times higher.

House of The Dragon

House of the Dragon, however, would be an understatement to define it as a special effects product with dragons, because its real strength at least in these first two episodes was in the richness of the dialogues wisely written by Ryan Condal flanked by George R.R Martin who wants to take his rematch after criticism for the Game of Thrones finale.

The prequel operations are not always able to arouse so much enthusiasm and often the references to the main series exasperated do nothing but create problems and inconsistencies to the detriment of the fanservice, just think of the half disaster of Fantastic Beasts just to mention another product of Warner Bros. Discovery, but in the case of House of The Dragon at least, for now, everything is taken care of perfectly thanks to the intelligence of HBO.

House of the Dragon, the relationship between Rhaenyra and Allicent is increasingly central

In this new episode of House of the Dragon, it follows what was seen in the premiere with the expulsion of Daemon Targaryen to Dragonstone, a painful but inevitable decision for King Viserys. Now the heir is Rhaenyra, who finds herself having to manage the responsibilities of her new role but also mourning the death of her mother at such a young age.

In all this, the character played, up to now, by Milly Alcock turns out to be incredibly the most mature and lucid in her decisions, almost retracing the choices of the first Daenerys. On the contrary, the intrigues and palace games that are unleashed behind the second marriage of the widowed sovereign allow us to better discover some secondary characters, above all the princess Rhaenys Targaryen played by Eve Best who allows us to fully know her and Lord’s intentions.

House of The Dragon

Colrys Valarion as well as highlighting the cultural legacies of society in Westeros. The reality is that House of The Dragon is up to now a Game of Thrones in which playing Game of Thrones is a family affair, compared to the intrigues between Baratheon, Targaryen, and Lannister that we had seen in the original series. It will also be interesting to find out how the Starks will come into play in the next episodes.

One of the most interesting and changing characters, however, is certainly Allicent, more sister than a friend of Rhaenyra, even if the surprise choice of King Viserys is destined to radically change things in their relationship and in the delicate balance of power in the kingdom.

Paddy Constantine’s King Viserys for his part demonstrates all his inadequacy in the role of King underlined by Matt Smith’s Daemon Targaryen, with the first real decision as a sovereign which proves to be a terrible boomerang by irremediably changing the balance of the chessboard in the imminent war.

His character, even with a very short screen time of “The shadow of the throne”, manages to make those few minutes shine with a magnetism that only great characters can give. A conflict is coming where the dragons will certainly dominate for much more action-packed episodes than those we have just witnessed, but which served to understand how the games for the throne were actually even 200 years before Daenerys and Cersei and that the rules were more or less the same.

The appointment with House of The Dragon is scheduled for tonight at 9 pm for the broadcast of the first episode in Italian and next Monday for the third episode in the original language and for the second dubbed episode.

Delhi Crime Season 2 Telugu Dubbed Series Review – 4 Movierulz

Delhi Crime Season 2 Telugu Dubbed Series Review: Season 1 of the Delhi Crime web series was released on Netflix without any expectations and received a great response for its making, as well as many awards at international film festivals. With the success of Season 1, the makers have launched Season 2 and it is now available for streaming on Netflix from August 26. Let’s review this newly released series and find out if it is worth our time or not.

Delhi Crime Season 2 story

An elderly couple living in the city of Delhi is on the verge of murder, so the police start investigating the case. Within days, another elderly couple is murdered, and it goes on and on. The police suspect some people belonging to the lower castes living in the slums and arrest them. However, in the absence of strong evidence to prove that the slum dwellers have committed the crimes, DCP Varthika Chaturvedi finds herself in a dilemma whether to support these slum dwellers or not.

Delhi Crime Season 2 Cast

Delhi Crime Season 2 Series Cast Shefali Shah, Rasika Duggal, Adil Hussain, Anurag Arora, Siddharth Bharadwaj, and Gopal Dutt. Directed by Tanuj Chopra and Rajesh Mapuskar. The series is produced by SK Global Entertainment, Golden Caravan, and Film Caravan. Mayank Tiwari, Shubhra Swaroop, and Ensia Mirza have written the series while Samyukta Chawla Sheikh and Virat Basoya have penned the dialogues. Andrew Lockington composed the music for this crime thriller.

How is the Delhi Crime Season 2 series?

Season 1 of this series is based on a true incident that rocked the country and is narrated from the perspective of a police investigation. Season 2 looks a bit more cinematic as this season’s storyline has added a lot of elements to keep the audience engaged. However, the series will keep you engaged as it showcases the inequalities between the people of India and the oppression that still persists in the country. Some scenes make us think about the unknown conditions of people living in slums.

When it comes to acting, Shefali Shah once again proves how good an actress she is, and not only is her character very natural, but the situations that happen on screen when she is on screen make us believe in her performance. Rasika Duggal is another underrated actress in Hindi who certainly continues to impress with her performances when given the chance. Adil Hussain was in a limited role in this series and did well as long as he was there. Few of the actors who played the role of slum dwellers were recognizable and all the other actors played their parts as required.

Technically this series is very good. One of the major highlights of the series is the background music by Andrew Lockington. Many scenes are elevated in the series due to his excellent background music. The cinematography is top-notch and brings the perfect mood to the film and the shots look very dark to immerse you in the series.

Tanuj Chopra & Rajesh Mapuskar seem to have no problem with their making and succeed in keeping the audience engaged in the narrative.

Overall, Delhi Crime Season 2 is another watchable crime drama that will surely engage the audience with its realistic making.

Rating: 3/5

Criminal Justice Season 3 Telugu Dubbed Series Review – 4 Movierulz

Criminal Justice Season 3

Criminal Justice Season 3 Telugu Dubbed Series Review: Criminal Justice, the British superhit series has been remade in Hindi and released on the Hotstar OTT platform. The success of season 1 boosted the confidence of the makers and released season 2. Now the makers have released season 3 which is available for streaming on Hotstar from August 26. Without wasting our time let’s jump straight into the in-depth review and find out if this is a series worth watching or not.

Criminal Justice Season 3 Story

The main accused in this murder is none other than Zara’s brother Mukul Ahuja. Madhav Mishra agrees to Avantika Ahuja’s request and starts digging into the truth behind Zara Ahuja’s murder mystery to help Mukula Ahuja get out of this case.

Criminal Justice Season 3 Cast

The cast of Criminal Justice Season 3 includes Pankaj Tripathi, Shweta Basu Prasad, Aditya Gupta, Purab Kohli, Swastika Mukherjee, and Gaurav Gera. Directed by Rohan Sippy and produced by Sameer Nair, and Deepak Segal, this courtroom crime drama series. This season 3 screenplay and written by Bijesh Jayarajan.

Criminal Justice Season 3/Disney+ Hotstar

How is the Criminal Justice Season 3 series?

Season 1 of this courtroom crime drama is an official remake of the original series from the British, and they have made some changes to connect with the Indian audience. Season 2 also entertained the audience due to Pankaj Tripathi’s amazing performance. Season 3 now has the required thrill to keep the audience engaged in the series and the makers have once again succeeded in giving us yet another interesting crime drama, revealing details one after the other in each episode.

Coming to the acting performance, Pankaj Tripathi once again does very well and we all fall in love with his character. He is very natural when it comes to acting. The Hindi film industry ignores such an actor for big projects and continues to produce some meaningless films. Aditya Gupta, another actor in this series, will definitely grab your attention. Shweta Basu Prasad acted well as a lawyer. Swastika Mukherjee and other actors have done their roles well.

Technically all seasons of Criminal Justice don’t matter. The background music of this series is suitable for the scenes and seems neutral in some scenes. The cinematography is good even though most of the scenes are shot in closed locations. Production values don’t matter.

Rohan Sippy succeeds with the way he presents this crime drama and Pankaj Tripathi’s performance adds more uniqueness to his making.

Overall, Criminal Justice: Adhura Sach is a watchable series. This can certainly be attributed to Pankaj Tripathi’s excellent performance as an actor.

Kalapuram Movierulz | Watch Kalapuram (2022) Telugu Movie Review – 4 Movierulz

Kalapuram

Kalapuram Movie 2022 Review: One of the popular actors of Tollywood, Satyam Rajesh has played various roles in his career in the past. However, the film grabbed all the attention after the trailer of his upcoming film, Kalapura Pawan Kalyan was unveiled, finally, the film was released today on August 26, 2022, without delay let’s dive into the in-depth review and see if the film is worth watching or not.

Kalapuram Movie Story

A man who wants to make films agrees to finance his project on the condition that it will be shot in a small town called Kalapuram, but the story takes an unexpected turn when the director of the film gets involved in a gambling case, and finally, who is behind it is the rest of the story.

Kalapuram Movie Cast

Satyam Rajesh, Sanchita Poonacha, Kasima Rafi, Chilam Sheenu, Praveen Yendamuri and Janardhan Directed by Karuna Kumar, Cinematography: Prasad G.K, Music: Manisharma, Film Editor: S.B. Raju Talari and the film is produced by Zee Studios & R4 Entertainments.

Kalapuram

How is the Kalapuram movie?

Kalapuram movie plot is very interesting, it mostly connects to those who struggle to make movies, but this movie has many elements, none of which engages you, but it fails to hook the audience despite having many famous comedians.

The film starts off interesting showing Satyam Rajesh’s struggle to find a producer, but then the film goes into a typical commercial zone with non-sync comedy, and unnecessary characters which do nothing to help the story, in the second half of the film Satyam Rajesh starts shooting in Kalapuram village for a while but that doesn’t last long either.

Satyam Rajesh shines in his role and he shows his strength with his performance, Jabardasth Apparao justifies his role and Chitram Seenu is okay, and the rest of the cast does their part well as the story requires.

Karuna Kumar takes an interesting plot but fails to deliver it on screen, the screenplay should be better and he fails to capture the core emotion of the film.

Prasad GK’s visuals are somewhat good and Mani Sharma saves the movie with his background score and the rest of the technical departments are well done.

Finally, Kalapuram is a one-time watch movie and if you have nothing left to watch, you can give this movie a try.
