Beast Telugu | Tamil star hero Vijay has been dominating the Telugu market for the past few years. Aggressive with a series of wins here. He received a super hit in Telugu with the movie ‘Master’ last year. Now he has done a movie called ‘Beast‘ directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. Already finished shooting and ready for release. Pooja Hegde starred opposite Vijay for the first time in the film.
The film is set to release worldwide in a few hours. Part of it was the good response to the release of the trailer for the film. Watching the trailer (Beast Trailer) .. seemed wowed with the mass and action elements. Vijay appeared as an agent of Indian spy Veera Raghava.
Recently, the Telugu trailer of this movie has been released. This trailer is impressive. A shopping mall is hijacked by terrorists. Veeraraghavan, a military spy agent who was accidentally there in the background, tells the story of how he saved the people from the terrorists.
In the Beast Trailer, Anirudh Ravichandran took RR to another level. See how impressive it is in more theaters. And if that is the case .. it is known that this movie will be released in Telugu as well. The film is being released on the Pan India level including Telugu. As for the Telugu pre-release business of this movie…
Nizam (Telangana): Rs. 3.50 crores
Ceeded (Rayalaseema): Rs. 2.1 crores
Andhra Pradesh: Rs. 4.40 crores
Andhra Pradesh + Telangana: Rs. 10 crores
If you want this movie to look like a hit in Telugu .. Rs. 10.50 crore should be collected. KGF2 has the potential to be a tough competition for this film. The Telugu rights of the film were acquired by Dil Raju. Netizens who have seen this trailer, however, have been hearing comments that some scenes in the trailer are similar to the popular Netflix series Money Heist.
Beast Telugu theatrical rights were sold at a huge price. His last film ‘Master’ did well in Telugu. The film is priced at Rs. 6 crores while doing business .. about Rs. With a gross of Rs 14 crore, it was also a big hit in Telugu. The two films will compete at the box office one day apart.
Beast dominates KGF: Chapter 2 in Tamil Nadu. But KGF says it can dominate the rest of the film. The Beast movie was produced by Sun Pictures with a huge budget. The release of the film was blocked in Kuwait. The Kuwaiti Ministry of Information has banned Beast. Banning the latest ‘Beast’ movie along with films like ‘Kurupu’ and ‘FIR’ has become a hot topic there.
More days, fewer days, there is a month to go until the premiere of Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness and Marvel announced the sale of advance tickets with a new spot, another exclusive video for the American theater chain AMC and released four unpublished posters for celebrating the announcement in the different cinemas. It should be remembered that advance sales do not support any type of promotion. About the content of the spots, there are also revelations.
Doctor Strange still hasn’t finished his task after helping the friendly Spider-Man to make everyone forget about Peter Parker. That spell generated a rupture in the barriers of the Multiverse that caused consequences that have not yet been fully discovered and that will be shown in the second film of the hero played by Benedict Cumberbatch. Since he opened a door to the multiverse, he will have his work cut out for him to stop a catastrophe that threatens to destroy the universe as we know it.
One of the trailers showed a conversation between Doctor Strange (Cumberbatch) and Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) in which they both talk about the chance to add the help of the Avengers, but she replies: “There are other Avengers.” The sorcerer promises that they will soon return from this mission and convinces her to join this adventure that will tackle the chaos in the Multiverse. Later on, Scarlet Witch is shown fighting alongside Wong (Benedict Wong) against unknown forces.
In this new spot, things are going to get complicated especially on Wanda’s side, since she is reunited with her children, evidence that once again her mind will play tricks on her. On the side of Doctor Strange, he will come face to face with the evil version of him and he reveals his third eye on his forehead. Furthermore, he anticipates another image of Strange imprisoned by what is speculated to be the Illuminati.
Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen will be the main stars of the new Marvel film after their stories were linked by experiences lived before reaching this point. Spider-Man: No Way Home served as the grand prelude to the huge event to come in this multiversal battle involving these completely new characters and faces. Additionally, it will mark the return of Sir Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier.
Doctor Strange 2 is directed by Sam Raimi, the American filmmaker behind the original Spider-Man trilogy starring Tobey Maguire. The coincidence in the meeting of the universes is evident and we can only wait for what the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) will bring in the future of movies and series.
The premiere of Doctor Strange: Into the Multiverse of Madness will arrive on May 4 with a preview date and on May 5 in all theaters.
The ‘RRR’ noise is subsiding. The ‘KGF-2’ heat began. It’s going to be buzzing around the world on the 14th of this month. The Beast will be released a day before the competition. In this context, it is a hot topic now which of these two films will be popular.
Vijay, who continues to be a Kollywood superstar with a string of successes, is the hero in ‘Beast‘, while Lucky Beauty is the heroine of Kannada Kasturi Pooja Hegde. Nelson Dilip Kumar is the director. This is his third film. The first movie ‘Kolamavu Kokila’ and the second movie ‘Doctor’ were both hits.
Now ‘Beast’ is the third with Vijay. After this, he committed to film with Rajinikanth. Anirudh’s music is a big plus point for ‘Beast’. The songs ‘Arabic Kuttu’ and ‘Jolly O Jim Kana’ are already in my mouth. However, there was a mixed response to the trailer. There is no reason for that. ‘KGF-2’ Trailer Out and Out Action Coming On 14th. The ‘Beast’ trailer was also filled with action parts. In fact, hearing that the movie is a full entertainer.
And when it comes to ‘KGF-2’, according to the trailer, there is nothing new except that it looks like a replica of the first part. There is also no entertainment. The songs are also Week compared to ‘Beast’. What matters is the content of the film. It is also the third film for its director Prashant Neel.
The first movie ‘Ugram’ and the second movie ‘KGF-1’ are both blockbusters. ‘KGF-2’ is the third. When it comes down to it, what Rakibhai does after killing Garuda is intriguing. Success depends on how well it is crafted. Both films are hat-trick films for two directors.
The craze for these movies is so great that Shahid Kapoor’s Hindi movie ‘Jersey’ went back a week due to these Pan India movies. Prashant Neil is also doing the Pan India movie ‘Salar’ with Prabhas after ‘KGF-2’. In the campaign, too, KGF-2 is currently more hands-on than Beast. And will these calculations be reversed after the release of these two films !? Or do both impress the audience? Or are both frustrating? That remains to be seen.
KGF Chapter 2 Movie Review, Rating: How is the ‘KGF 2‘ movie going to be? Now it is an eagerly awaited movie by all the Indian audience. Already the huge success of ‘KGF 1’ and the sequel to its ‘KGF 2’ teaser and trailer have impressed the audience with huge expectations. Expectations of the film are rising day by day. Advance bookings are also good. There are opportunities to achieve huge openings.
Bookings, openings aside … ‘KGF 2’ first review has arrived. Dubai-based film critic Umair Sandhu has given the film a 5-star rating. The film is all set to release on April 14 in our country. “All in all … ‘KGF 2’ is a huge action entertainer. It’s an active workout. It has style and subtestiness.
Action, stunning locations, aside from the stylish approach … there’s Yash. His charisma is mind-blowing. This is Yash’s best film. There is no doubt about it. A sure shot is a blockbuster, “Umair Sandhu said on social media (KGF Chapter 2 Movie Review). The film received a five-star rating.
Each film is reviewed by Umair Sandhu. However … some audiences criticize him for giving a review without watching the movie and for watching the movie due to the craze among the audience.
‘KGF 2’, directed by Prashant Neil and produced by Vijay Kiragandur, stars Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Rao Ramesh, and Prakash Raj among others. Srinidhi Shetty is the heroine in this movie. It will be released this Thursday in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi.
KGF Chapter 2 | Yash: There is nothing special to be said about the KGF movie and its stamina. The film shocked the box office indiscriminately in the North and South. It is no exaggeration to say that Kannada actor Yash’s career changed completely with that one (KGF) movie. Until three years ago, Yash was the only star hero in Kannada. But now he has emerged as a Pan Indian hero. Yash, who broke records with KGF, will now be greeted with the KGF Chapter 2 movie.
The highly anticipated film is set to release worldwide on April 14. However, trade pundits say that the film will break the previous RRR records. Going into details .. R R R Hindi First Day Collections 19 crores. These collections are by far the top after Covid. Cine analysts say that this will break the KGF Chapter 2 (KGF Chapter 2).
KGF 2 First Day Collections in Hindi are estimated to be around Rs 35+ crore. Bookings are in that range. This range of bookings is said to be a sensational feat in terms of market conditions after Covid. However, the first part is the reason for such hype. It is said that KGF 2 (KGF Chapter 2) has the potential to record good collections not only in Hindi but also in these Telugu states.
The point here is that the Telugu version has a chance to charge more than the Kannada version. It remains to be seen how far KGIF 2 (KGF Chapter 2) will live up to these expectations. KGIF 2 will be released in theaters on April 14th. The film starring Yash was directed by Prashanth Neel.
When it comes to the first part of collections of KGF… The film has raised the banner of success in all industries. KGF released in Telugu without any expectations is Rs. Has collected over 20 crores per share. The KGF Chapter 2 trailer has garnered over 100 million views in all languages combined.
In this trailer once again Yash .. along with the elevation of heroism Sanjay Dutt is also in the same range as the villain Athira who hits him. This (KGF Chapter 2) film has been issued a U / A certificate by the censors. 168.06 minutes i.e. 2 hours 48 minutes 6 seconds. After Bahubali, the audience is waiting for the second part of a movie for this movie.
Did they really expect Chapter 1 to be so successful? With this, there is huge competition from all industries for KGF Chapter 2. So the film unit is very careful about the business. Part 2 business is said to have been over Rs 250 crore. Now after the release of the trailer the expectations have increased even more.
As for the story of Kejriwal .. it was shot in the background of illegal mining in Karnataka in the 1970s and 80s. Director Prashant Neil shot the second part in a more armored way with the response to the first part of KGF. That is why the film has actors from many languages.
The importance of that role in KGF 2 was taken into consideration for the role of Athira with Hindi big hero Sanjay Dutt (Sanjay Dutt) in the movie. Raveena Tandon, on the other hand, plays a powerful role as the Prime Minister (Raveena Tandon). The film is set to release on April 14 in Kannada and all languages in one day.
Rao Ramesh and Prakash Raj will be seen in key roles in the film, which stars Kannada actress Sri Nidhi Shetty as the heroine.
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is the perfect example of how a movie can hide a good part and another so-so. And it is hardly understandable that J.K. Rowling, so focused on her original books (I mean the Harry Potter saga), writes scripts as vague as the ones she is giving us in this new franchise.
I liked it? Quite, everything must be said; but it has also disappointed me because I do not see the change that was predicted anywhere.
The Real Trouble in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore
“Fantastic Beasts” and “The Secrets of Dumbledore” are really two completely different movies: the first is a compendium of hackneyed jokes already seen in previous installments about Newt Scamander and his fellow adventurers. The second is an intense drama about an impossible love that causes very dangerous tensions in the future.
Why does Warner Bros. insist on calling this franchise ‘Fantastic Beasts’ when it has become clear that it is a name that has no pull? What’s more, with The Secrets of Dumbledore, those magical beasts almost completely disappear, and only towards the end does a specific species take center stage that I won’t reveal for obvious reasons.
It was the perfect opportunity to release independent movies without trying to sneak in Newt and his friends; because with this third installment it is clear that they are trying to be a common thread when we are all trying to see what happens next between Grindelwald and Dumbledore.
This mixture results in a movie ‘by pieces’: at times, we are super into what happens to Credence and Grindelwald, what his relationship with Dumbledore is like, or how the future headmaster of Hogwarts is desperately looking for a way to avoid direct conflict. On the other hand, we have a feature film closer to the second, in which the real protagonists (Newt and his brother, for example) bother more than help.
The Magic of Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore
Luckily, there are wonderful moments in Fantastic Beasts 3, which is why I ended up raising the grade several integers. In particular, the few magic scenes that appear (there are not as many as anticipated) are among the best in the entire franchise and show that David Yates has found again that spark that he lost for a time.
I also highlight in a very positive way the chemistry between Grindelwald and Dumbledore, and here I open a debate for which many will kill me. Would it have been possible for Johnny Depp to create this intimate relationship between his character and Jude Law?
Because I think the villain has improved a lot thanks to Mads Mikkelsen by giving us a less egocentric and eccentric version than the one played by the actor from Pirates of the Caribbean. I know that many of you idolize him, but Grindelwald needed a very different touch from the one we saw in the second installment, and here it has finally been achieved.
Finally, magical beasts continue to play a role in the saga, but here they lose importance to the detriment of the story that interests us most (that of Grindelwald and Dumbledore). However, when they appear, they remain in the background (except towards the end) being mere tools to make the viewer smile. As if Warner Bros. Pictures wanted to sell us the merchandise by force.
It is not the film we wanted, but a kind of ‘transition 2.0’
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is a transitional movie towards a possible ending. And I say possible because The Crimes of Grindelwald was also transitional. Will there be a time when the saga leaves us in tension at all times? Or will subframes continue to be created one after another? Because when I left the cinema, I had the feeling that absolutely nothing has happened in the seven and a half hours of the franchise that we had.
Luckily, it’s still an entertaining movie, which I quite liked despite everything I’ve said, and which has given us two of J.K.’s best characters. Rowling: Grindelwald and Dumbledore.
After a troubled but definitely appreciated first chapter, Sonic returns to the cinema with Sonic 2, a film directed once again by Jeff Fowler and again starring Jim Carrey in the role of the evil Dr. Eggman.
As mentioned, the first film was a great success – in some ways surprising – able to give new life to the genre of cinema based on video games, exactly as Detective Pikachu had done a few years earlier. This time, however, the Blue Hedgehog is not alone and is accompanied by two other iconic characters of the franchise: Tails and Knuckles.
Sonic wants to be a hero and wants to use his powers to do good. Waiting for his moment to him, he continues to live a carefree life in Green Hills. Meanwhile, Doctor Robotnik on the Planet of Mushrooms finds a way to return to Earth thanks to the meeting with Knuckles the Echidna, one of the strongest warriors in the whole universe.
Their goal is to find the Great Emerald and thus conquer the ultimate power. Sonic will try to stop this new pairing, also counting on a new alliance: Tails. All that part of the public who liked the first chapter will surely find this Sonic: The Hedgehog 2 definitely enjoyable because, de facto, we are talking about an enhanced version of the previous film.
The plot is simple but engaging because the audience cares about the protagonists. During the writing, then, elements from the game Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic & Knuckles were mixed and the result is convincing and even exciting in some moments.
The directorial stamp used is once again addressed to a decidedly very young audience, both in the gags and in the dialogues. If for the first adventure in the cinema of the Blue Hedgehog this might have seemed an experiment, now the structure is consolidated and the film is also smart enough to wink at a certain target audience.
This is because, for example, among the various tracks used for the soundtrack there are many that on the internet, specifically on TikTok, are/have been trends among the youngest, and therefore immediately steal the attention while you are in the room.
The other moments more marked by the comedy starring Sonic also work very well, because the film exploits in the best way the character of the protagonist and his powers to create funny situations, combined with dialogues and lines that are very well connected to the images.
Sonic The Hedgehog Movie
A little less functional, however, the lighter moments entrusted to the live-action cast: James Marsden in this chapter is very little used and has a central role in the plot if not for some line of dialogue with Sonic and the comedy that is entrusted to her character is very banal and uninteresting, especially if Sonic 2.
As mentioned, refers to a very young audience, made up mostly of children; halfway is okay with how Jim Carrey was exploited, who continues to be a good Doctor Robotnik in general, but this time – in all likelihood to strongly emphasize the character’s madness – the actor was asked to go excessively over the top.
Let’s be clear, those moments also work, and certainly, viewers will laugh, but these are small sequences that are completely disconnected and out-of-context from what the film is about. The action moments of the film are again beautiful and engaging because the clashes already seen between Sonic and Robotnik’s technology are also joined by those with Knuckles, also in the company of Tails.
Precisely the interaction between these three characters is truly the beating heart of the film and fans of the franchise created by SEGA will not fail to appreciate the various Easter eggs present during the film, as well as moments that relate heavily to those of video games.
Speaking again of the characters – made with a generally excellent CGI, again this time – there is very little to say: if Sonic continues to be the joyful and always positive character of the first chapter, in this second film he steals the show when he is present. on-screen is always and only Knuckles.
Sonic The Hedgehog Movie
This is not really a surprise, because Echidna is already extremely popular in video games and the fans were delighted when he was revealed in the film. The expectations of him were high and were absolutely respected by the film, which gives the audience a character absolutely well written, coherent, and a character that really goes to complements Sonic.
Excellent confirmation, as you could already guess from the trailers, the voice of Maurizio Merluzzo, the former voice actor of the Echidna in video games. The work done with Tails, a real supporting character towards the Hedgehog, is also good: the friendship staged between the two characters works and is very important for the development and deepening of Sonic himself. In short, both the two new entries work great and in the end, leave the viewer the desire to see more.
As for the future of the franchise in the cinema, something more will certainly make us understand the scene, the only one, present after the credits.
Sonic 2 is a good confirmation, which raises the bar of the first chapter, if not in terms of quality, certainly in terms of entertainment. If the previous film, in fact, was probably a little more square in terms of balance, this second film totally embraces it as being a children’s title and does so with great cunning and intelligence.
The action is there and it is fun – even if perhaps for a Sonic movie it runs a little short – and the additions of Tails and, above all, Knuckles work perfectly, giving the title an edge. Sonic: The Hedgehog 2 is a film that cannot be missed by fans of the Blue Hedgehog.
Varun Tej starrer ‘Ghani‘. In this, he is a boxer role. Built a packed body for the movie, character. Pawan Kalyan played the role of a boxer in Already ‘Thammudu’. How did Varun Tej do this movie? Recently, sports-based films are coming to Telugu. Boxing / Mixed Martial Arts themed ‘Thammudu’, ‘Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammayi’, ‘Guru’ and some other films. And, how is the Ghani movie?
Story:Gani (Varun Tej) is a boxer. His dream is to become a national champion. In his childhood, his father Vikramaditya (Upendra) went to Nationals. Loses. Moreover, it turns out that he took drugs. With that everyone calls gani, his mother everyone calls me Nana. Leave Hyderabad and go to Visakhapatnam. If he wants to regain the dignity lost by his father … he wants to be a winner in the Indian Boxing League (IBL).
Hates the father. Do not even tell your mother (Nadia) that you are learning boxing. When does she know the thing? Did Ghani’s dream of becoming a champion come true? Or not? What were the challenges he faced on this journey? What did you know about Father Vikramaditya? What happened in the end? The answers to these questions should be known by watching the movie.
Ghani Movie
Analysis: Some stories are a plus for the cast. With the availability of diverse, distinctive stories comes the opportunity to showcase talent. The cast will be a plus for a few more stories. They try to elevate the film one step further with their acting in simple stories. Production values raise the level of the film. ‘ghani’ is a second category film. The screen is packed with talented actors and high production values that add to the regular format story.
When it comes to the ‘gani’ story … there is nothing new. Most importantly the love track between the hero and heroine in Fastoff is not really impressive. Even if that track is removed from the movie … there will be no big loss. Interval is called ‘Game Begins’. In fact, the real story of ‘ghani’ even started near the interval.
As such, there is nothing new in the second half either. Conforms to the expectations of the audience. If not … Better compared to the First half. The dialogues written by Abburi Ravi were strong for some scenes. Wrote dialogues with depth. Kiran Korrapati wrote the routine formula story without taking much risk for her debut film as a director.
However … impressing the audience with a routine story is not so easy. That’s the real risk. Impress the audience in front of the screen with the taking rather than the story. Kiran just scored pass marks in that regard. At least not in terms of screenplay. The director received good support from cinematographer George C. Williams. The film is good visually.
Ghani Movie
There is no scope for songs in the film. But, among the existing songs, the song ‘Romeo and Juliet Law …’ sung by Aditi, the daughter of South Indian star director Shankar, is good. Thaman dance was the special attraction for the song ‘Kodithe …’. It is clear from watching the film that the producers have not compromised anywhere in terms of cost.
Varun Tej’s style as an actor is different from before. They are not limited to one genre, one type of story, and are always looking for something new. In that order, the film was made into a sports-based genre. The first half is all about love stories and routine scenes so there is nothing he can do bigger as an actor. Went on making it easy. After the interval, especially the climax, a new Varun Tej appears half an hour before. Impressed with the acting.
Upendra, Nadia, Sunil Shetty, and Jagapathi Babu are routine characters. Their acting in those roles was a plus. The character of Sai Manjrekar has no importance in the story. There is no intensity in her acting. How to be a commercial heroine? Are so! Naveen Chandra did well in face-to-face scenes with Varun Tej.
Senior Naresh, ‘Swami Rara’ Satya characters did not laugh much. Although the film is made with routine stories and articles … there is a good conflict point in ‘Ghani’. The mother has the feeling that her son is hiding the truth. In fact, there is a psychological conflict between the protagonist and the liar.
It doesn’t matter how you became part of the betting mafia in the second half. Overall … time goes by without any expectations. Varun Tej’s acting and production values are impressive. The absence of another big movie release this week is a plus point for ‘Ghani’.
It is known that he is currently acting in a sports drama Movie called Ghani. The shooting is over and the film is ready for release. The film was released with a budget of around Rs 35 crore. The film, which has just finished shooting, is set to release on the 8th of this month.
There has been a good response to the recent release of a trailer from this movie. The pre-release event of the film was held on April 2 in Visakhapatnam with Allu Arjun as the chief guest. Information that the non-theatrical rights to the film, which is ready for release, have been sold at a huge rate. The film is priced at Rs. Information that it has sold for 25 crores.
Varun Tej’s transformation of himself for this film has impressed everyone. Varun Tej for this movie .. Sweat well for Six Pack Body. The film unit has released a making video of Varun Tej revealing how hard he worked for the film. The latest movie is all over the world…
Nizam (Telangana): Rs. 8 crores
Ceeded (Rayalaseema): Rs. 3.50 crores
Andhra Pradesh: Rs. 9.50 crores
Telangana + Andhra Pradesh: Rs. 21.00 crore Karnataka and Rest of India: Rs. 2.50 crore Overseas: Rs. 1.80 crore Total World Wide Collections .. Rs. The film is expected to gross around Rs 25.30 crore worldwide. 26.30 crores.
The film also stars Upendra, Sunil Shetty, and Jagapathibabu in other lead roles. The total run time of the movie is 2 hours 31 minutes 17 seconds. New director Kiran Korrapati has directed the movie ‘Gani‘. Apart from Varun Tej’s ‘Gani’, Varun Tej is also starring in the upcoming F3 directed by Anil Ravipudi.
In F3, Mehreen plays Varun as a couple and Venkatesh Tamanna plays another couple. Dil Raju is producing. The film has recently completed shooting. The sequel will be more comedy compared to the first part. Venkatesh and Varun Tej put up a hotel together. The problems they face from there… The story of this movie is about falling. The film is set to release on May 27, NTR Jayanti Day.
Moon Knight Episode 2 confirms and dramatically multiplies the good feelings of the debut, with the psyche of the protagonist more and more at the center.
It may sound strange, but after two episodes we are pretty convinced that one of Moon Knight’s strongest strengths is the momentary absence of any connection with the rest of the MCU. Mind you, we are not in any way diminishing the monumental architecture created by Feige and associates, on the contrary, we openly acknowledge how much an operation of this kind deserves the right to enter the history of cinema.
But it is also true that, in certain situations, the shared universe can be incredibly exorbitant, as it requires unavoidable stakes for the stories that can be told: said very trivially, even in his film Spider-Man cannot tackle multidimensional problems without at his side there is Doctor Strange, on pain of absurd problems of continuity if not of logical sense.
Again, on the one hand, it is what gives energy to the whole, while on the other hand it always runs the risk of limiting the potential of a character. Here, at least in his Moon Knight series, he has the privilege of not running into this eventuality, he has the extraordinary opportunity to forge his own imagination from scratch, even a feud between divinities.
And this is the path taken in the second episode, which clearly shows how deeply the authors wanted to exploit this freedom because it is here that the sumptuous fertile ground in which Steven Grant / Marc Spector acts takes a little more shape in its undeniable tragedy.
Moon Knight Disney+ Series
Who is Marc?
After giving his body to Marc and fighting Moon Knight the Egyptian jackal who chased him in the museum (here you can find Moon Knight 1×01), Steven (Oscar Isaac) wakes up with a start in his bed, still doubtful about the nature of these events. Did they really happen or is his head reaching the heights of madness?
Arriving at work, however, he discovers that someone has indeed smashed the bathroom, despite the security cameras only showing a terrified and whimpering Steven running around between the various attractions and, most importantly, no signs of dogs, hounds, or jackals.
One detail, however, captures him: the self he sees coming out of the toilet, according to him, is absolutely not him, but another person with a very different attitude. He then decides it’s time to face his fears and finally find out what lies behind the mysterious Marc.
And, like last week, it can only surprise us positively how the new Marvel series seems disinterested in taking simple paths or easy trivializations of events, which would have made the task much easier and given fans several more sops, at least for that which concerns the rhythm and the spectacular.
Moon Knight, on the other hand, abandons any unnecessary action ambitions and adopts – like a good psychological thriller in the MCU theme – its own exquisite background slowness, or, it would be better to say, a frenetic mixture of braking and continuous accelerations to paint its main actor in the various shades and the wonderful mythology in which it is immersed (we have already explained to you why Oscar Isaac is the best choice for Moon Knight).
Moon Knight Disney+ Series
Fighting deities and grayscale
The incredible initial victory of Moon Knight is, in fact, precisely enclosed in these nuances that were anything but obvious: in the intensive exploitation of an extremely fascinating background of the character, in terms of moral consequences and more; in not offering clear positions, a glaring good side and a bad side in the clash between Marc and Arthur (Ethan Hawke).
But a grayscale where he is inclined to lose the right moral compass; in the delineation of a tormented protagonist, tired and subjugated by an ambiguous and selfish divinity. Especially at the end of the episode, the peaks of characterization and drama, inherent in Marc / Steven himself without the need for external factors, explode in sequences that are nothing short of amazing.
Since the announcement, we were somewhat skeptical about how Moon Knight could be treated by the Marvel formula and how it could fit into the shared universe, but now there is really a tangible change of tones and themes.
Of course, as in the debut, sometimes the comic streak continues to always go a little further and the action scenes are still below the standards that the MCU has accustomed us to, but the series still has a lot of time to prove us wrong. . On Moon Knight it was perhaps more important to frame the tragic essence of the character, which seems to be there fully and triumph over everything else.
The second episode of Moon Knight not only confirms the good feelings of the debut but amplifies them dramatically. And that’s because the new Marvel series looks like totally disinterested in making simple decisions or taking trivial directions that would have made the rhythm or the spectacle of the whole much easier.
Aware of the delicate character it is dealing with, the screenplay instead continues to linger exquisitely on the tormented psyche of the protagonist, in trying to find out who this Marc is, in slowly unveiling the incredible mythology concerning the selfish and ambiguous Khonshu, who supports him.
The result, especially when compared to the rest of the MCU, is stunning, wonderfully tragic, and full of shades of gray, with no distinctly good or bad. It is also true that the humor typical of the cinematic universe does and will always do its part and, as in the pilot, even here sometimes it exaggerates just that little bit too much.
As well as the action sequences are a little below the standards we have been used to for over a decade. The character and his essence of him, however, are fully there for now and it was not at all obvious.
