During a recent interview, Chad Stahelski revealed important information regarding the new chapter of the much-appreciated action franchise.
John Wick needs no introduction anymore: the character first appeared at the cinema in 2014, starting a successful action saga starring Keanu Reeves (Matrix, Constantine). Specifically, the well-known actor embodies an old retired killer who returns to the scene after some criminals, involuntarily, kill his dog, the last gift of his wife who disappeared due to cancer.
This starts an unprecedented carnage that continues in the next two chapters, released respectively in 2017 and 2019. Finally, after a long wait, we will have the opportunity to observe a new adventure of the bloodthirsty killer.
John Wick 4 arrives in cinemas in March 2023
At present, John Wick 4 is finished (at least in terms of filming) and we just have to wait for new information about the film. Recently, director Chad Stahelski, during an interview with Collider for the presentation of the new Netflix Day Shift title (Stahelski is the producer of the project), the filmmaker unveiled the actual duration of the title which is not too far from the minutes of the previous ones.

It is longer than the other three, but not that long. We are on the last stretch for the image block and then we have our VFX music. But this is the furthest I’ve ever seen, so much in post. We love the music we have so far. We still have Tyler Bates composing some of the larger sequences.
The visual effects will arrive for the rest of the year. But we are dangerously close. In our edit, as far as the image block is concerned, we are just a few minutes away from the block. Our sequences are over. The film is basically finished. There are probably still a few weeks of retouching in general, then we close the image and take care of the sound of the music and the effects.
We remind you that John Wick 4 is produced by 87Eleven Entertainment, Lionsgate, Summit Entertainment and Thunder Road Pictures with a screenplay written by Michael Finch and Shay Hatten. The cast, on the other hand, sees the involvement, as well as Reeves, of Donnie Yen in the part of Caine, Laurence Fishburne who plays the Bowery King, Hiroyuki Sanada who lends the face to Shimazu, Lance Reddick (Charon), Ian McShane (Winston) and many more. The film arrives in Italian cinemas precisely on March 23, 2023.
