The release date for the sequel of the film released in 2021 is currently set for March 15, 2024. We recall that the first film grossed the beauty of 468 million dollars worldwide, conquering not only the public but also criticism. The MonsterVerse is taking shape and Godzilla vs Kong 2 wants to be a new fundamental pawn in the grand design.
Godzilla vs Kong 2, everything we know about the movie
At the moment not much is known about movies. Adam Wingard will be engaged once again to direct, while Dan Stevens has been chosen as the protagonist, in a role that has not been specified. We do not yet know the names or the name of who will take care of the screenplay of the film. In short, total secrecy for Godzilla vs Kong 2.
What is known is Warner Bros. is working on the construction of a universe of monsters – known as MonsterVerse – in which the two characters of Godzilla and King Kong play a key role. In fact, two television projects that will be part of the MonsterVerse are in the works. The first is titled Skull Island: it is an animated series that will be released on Netflix and that will tell something more about King Kong.
The second project, currently untitled, is another live-action television series that will be released on Apple TV + and which will be dedicated to Godzilla. The cast of this series will include Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell. Although no release dates have been announced at the moment, fans can rejoice that in the coming years the screens – large or small – will be invaded by the two huge monsters.
