Ram Gopal Varma’s film is of interest to the audience at least on a small scale. It is not surprising that ‘Konda‘ has become more and more interesting as it is a film based on certain events in the life of Murali and Surekha. But no matter how much publicity was given before the release, the buyers were not eager to buy ‘Konda’. People did not flock to the theaters when it was released. How is the movie ‘Konda’ released in such a strange situation …
Story:
Konda Murali (Trigunna) could not stand to see injustice happening in front of his eyes. Responds immediately, physically. So Murali goes to his house and crushes a lover who is harassing girls in Ulu. The victim’s parents (Tulsi, LB Shriram) brainwashed him and sent him to study at Lal Bahadur College in Warangal.
Murali gets upset when he sees a student named Surekha (Irra More) there. It was there that he met RK (Prashant Karthi), who was working for the revolution. Seeing Murali’s aggression, Nalla Sudhakar (Prithvi), a local political leader, pulls him closer to him. Murali and Surekha get married. Sudhakar first wants Murali to work for the people, then realizes his true nature and comes out.
But Murali’s friend Kolli Pratap (Auto Ramprasad) stays with Sudhakar Panchani and backs Murali. Sudhakar attacks Murali with his own men according to the information given by him. Murali escapes with his life if he is hit by a bullet. What did Murali do after that, did he get revenge, or not? Is the rest of the story.
Analysis:
Ram Gopal Varma propagated that the name is the story of a Konda couple, but it is easy to see that it is more of a fiction than a fact. The world knows that Errabelli Dayakirao is the main enemy of Konda Murali. Hence the use of the name means that the character has been turned into a black facilitator to cause censorship problems. In this movie, Nalla Sudhakar plays the role of a villain.
In this movie, we see Sudhakar turning into a ball on the side of Murali and repeatedly trying to get rid of him, who is competing with him. In terms of characterizations .. Konda Murali and Nalla Sudhakar have made the characters a bit better than the rest of the characters. The stubbornness and courage of Murali are well shown to many in that role.
The Konda Surekha characterization is not at all impressive. The song that was filmed about her in college .. is not liked by anyone except those who have very bad taste. She took off her necklace and showed her navel and nipples and saw her splattering. If anyone presses their cheeks .. it is not their fault. Not only that, but the filming of all the songs is the worst. The killing of a scoundrel named Bandla Dora is shown through a song. Seeing the gestures of the characters in it, my heart breaks.
If you are watching a movie .. the feeling of being surrounded by Chaka Chaka will melt away regardless of whether the gestures of the actors are in line with the scene or whether there are any differences in the character style. Ramgopal Varma did not seem to need to shoot scenes at home. Kondokancho. It is doubtful whether these scenes were taken by Arjiviena.
When Surekha went to fetch Murali from the police station on bail, how could it be that the inspectors were staring at her while wiping their tongues .. not once but twice? And so .. Surekha went to Nalla Sudhakar to release Murali… “What should you give me?” Asks. Sudhakar says, “I’m not asking you to feed me, I’m asking you to feed me,” he laughs. Did real-life characters really behave the same way as Surekha? She must disclose this fact.
The conversations seemed impressive in some places and cheap in others. The vision is not at all impressive. D.Y.S.R. Failed to add strength to music scenes. The music of the songs is awful though. None of the five songs are naughty. Malhar Bhatt Joshi’s Cinematography seems to be fair. I do not know how hard it was for editor Manish Thakur to paste and cut the scenes. But what does he do?
Performance of the cast:
Trigun did justice to the character of Konda Murali. Demonstrated maturity in the matter of gestures. His body language is also good. Irra More is not seen in the role of Surekha. Her expressions often frighten me. Did she do it on purpose? Doubt. Prithviraj was rightly suited as Nalla Sudhakar. You have to see him when you laugh at Kisakisami.
The director was overreacting by Tulsi, who plays Murali’s mother. LB Shriram showed settled performance as a father. Auto Ramprasad as Kolli Pratap, who turned his back on Murali, and Prashant Karthi as Naxalite Archea did not look good.
Abhilash Chaudhary is OK as Inspector Riaz. Shravan Raghavendra did not get a chance to play the role of Inspector Gokul.
‘Konda’ movie is another example to say that the genius songs of Ram Gopal Varma as a director are in a backward direction. The storytelling, the characterizations, the composition of the scenes, and their portrayal must be heart-wrenching to enjoy a very crumbling ‘Konda’ movie. Mynobi small hearts are hard to bear.
