Tiger Nageswara Rao Movie Review: The film ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’ directed by Vamsi of Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja starrer Lakshmi Manchu ‘Dongata’, Raj Tarun ‘Kittoo Udayan Vadya’ fame. Andhra Robin Hood Stewartupuram Nageswara Rao biopic. It was released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages.
Tiger Nageswara Rao Movie Story:
Stewartupuram Nageswara Rao (Ravi Teja) has a habit of talking before hitting anyone or anything. Starting from the beheading of his father at the age of eight…the story of Nageswara Rao’s life till the death of MLA Yalamanda (Harish Parody) and CI Mouli (Jishshu Sen Gupta).
What is the background of Stuartpuram? Why did Nageswara Rao cut off his father’s head? What happened to Sara (Nupur Sanan), the northern girl he fell in love with? What happened to Maradalu’s marriage to Mani (Gayatri Bharadwaj)? What did Nageswara Rao do with the stolen money? How did he become a ‘Tiger’? At the same time the Prime Minister (Indira Gandhi) went to the office and what was the challenge? You have to watch the movie to know.
Analysis (Tiger Nageswara Rao Movie Review): People know that Stewartupuram Nageswara Rao is a Gajadonga. How does he steal? What is his personal life? It is not known. Hence, there was interest in ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’ as the film was based on his life. The movie started to increase it further. But… it didn’t continue till the end.
Tiger Nageswara Rao Analysis:
Two aspects of what director Vamsi said register to the audience. One… the massacre of the enemies who were eyeing the theft and looted money! Two… personal life! The thefts are shown at the beginning of the movie. The beating of a father or train robbery scene in childhood gives goosebumps. But… The love story after giving so much is not interesting.
It took more time to tell that story. It tested the audience’s patience a bit. It was like putting brakes on a high-speed bullet train. After the interval, the pace slows down further as the story focuses on the good man in Gajadongla. Nageswara Rao shows another aspect of life and some scenes seem to be repeated.
The connection between Ravi Teja and the people of the village is not fully explored. Therefore, there is no strong conflict in the flag scenes. There is no climax to make the audience feel Ravi Teja’s ambition.
Why should I say that… The action sequences in the movie are well-designed. Ravi Teja also did it smartly. But… The sequence where people’s heads are chopped off in a factory like watermelons is a bit over the top. The songs are not memorable. Effective re-recording would have been good. The visual effects are not good. Avinash Kolla’s production design helped Nageswara Rao bring the time period to the screen.
Tiger Nageswara Rao Movie Actors Performance:
What if a hungry tiger starts hunting… Ravi Teja’s performance in the role of Nageswara Rao is also like that. The director’s writers are designing his characters as if Ravi Teja’s name is mentioned as a nickname for Husharu. New Ravi Teja appeared as a real-life character with different emotions in it. A teenage Ravi Teja was shown in some scenes using technology. A little more care should be taken in the case of those visuals.
Nupur Sanon, Gayatri Bharadwaj & Anukirthi Vyas who played the role of a courtesan looked beautiful. Acted according to the scope of their respective roles. The Glamor show was done. Gayathri gets an opportunity to do emotional scenes in the climax. She took advantage of that chance.
Talented artists like Anupam Kher, Murali Sharma, Nazar, and ‘Aadukalam’ Naren are in the movies. Due to them, the weight of the respective roles has increased. Apart from that… They are not challenging characters. Renu Desai appeared as Hemalatha. Jishshu Sen Gupta as CI Mouli and Harish Parody as Yalamanda showed good villainy.
Finally, Ravi Teja is sure to steal the hearts of the audience with his performance. But it is difficult for the film to steal the box office collections and the hearts of the audience. Although the story and the emotions in the story are good… The slow narration is very disturbing. The movie will please Ravi Teja fans.
PS: Apart from ‘Crack’ and ‘Dhamaka’… none of the films starring Ravi Teja as a solo hero have been successful at the box office. The audience was not impressed. Compared to ‘Rama Rao on Duty’, ‘Khiladi’ and ‘Ravanasura’ movies, ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’ is a better film! Gives a good experience. However,… The teaser falls a step short of living up to the expectations created by the trailer.
