Urvasivo Rakshasivo: If the content is not strong, it is very difficult to get a hit talk for a typical hero. Allu Sirish, who was introduced to the Telugu audience with the movie Harmana, did not make a single movie together. He recently remade a Malayalam movie ABCD in Telugu under the direction of Sanjeev Reddy. Even though the movie was released in 2019, it didn’t do much good.
After a gap of three years, they have come to us with this movie. Initially promoted with the title Prema Kadanta, this movie has changed its title and came before us. Has this movie helped Allu Shirish’s career in any way…has the fate of this movie changed after the title was changed?
Urvasivo Rakshasivo ibomma Story:
A middle-class boy Mr. Kumar (Allu Sirish) has been courting Sindhuja (Anu Emmanuel) for a long time. But he can’t tell her that piece. In this way his luck will rise…he will join his office. Nana turns around to catch her eye. She likes to travel with him. Calling the pub. Let’s share a bed together. Dating and romance are very common things for Sindhuja, who came to India after studying in America. But that is not the case for Sreekumar.
He falls seriously in love with her and decides to invite her into his life as his life partner. But modern girl Sindhuja does not like marriage. She says that marriage and children will hinder her career goals and she will lose her freedom. That convinces Sreekumar and starts a live in relationship.
For that.. Mr. Kumar rents a house two streets away from his house and starts co-habitation. From there, Sreekumar’s task is to manage at home without the parents (Amani, Kedar Shankar) knowing about this matter. This cohabitation takes place in the eyes of a matchmaking marriage broker (Posani).
On the other hand, various difficulties arise in the process of meeting Sindhu by going secretly from the house at night. A situation arises where those who do not want to know will be revealed. What did Mr. Kumar do then? Did he convince Sindhu and marry him? Or did cohabitation continue? You have to watch the movie to know what happened in the end.
Analysis:
A remake of the 2018 Tamil film Pyaar Prema Kaadhal, this film carries forward almost the same format and feel. But the changes made for Telugu and the episodes are very good. After seeing the teaser, it is true that everyone doubts that Allu Sirish will have such a heavy romance workout.
But whenever Shirish slowed down.. Anu Emmanuel took the lead and got locked. This movie, made in the romantic comedy genre, has a simple story. Even in the context of living in relationships becoming common in cosmopolitan cities, the plot has dealt with a contemporary issue.
Solution.. Love and marriage stopped at the end but the scenes were hot.. The youth seemed to like it. Also the intense chemistry between the lead pair has been worked out. The dialogues also come together accordingly. Especially the comedy scenes of Vennela Kishore and Posani Krishna Murali carried the movie.
On the other hand, Sunil also took a hit with his own punches. As a story of a girl and a boy who are confused between friendship and love and go to the point of physical relationship, it is a popular story. Although the line doesn’t seem very new, the freshness in the treatment connected with the youth. Otherwise, it would have been better if they had worked on raising some emotions.
Direction and other departments
The problem with this movie is that if it crosses the line, it will fail. So the film should be screened very carefully to be very balanced. A remake of that too. If there is a difference, it is said to have damaged it. Showing his strengths amidst all these tasks.. Director Rakesh Shashi. Strong use of comedy is engaging. Especially, he locked the second half without getting bored.
Also, it did not play over-sentiment and create cynicism. He looked for fun even in serious situations. It could be a dialogue… a scene. Technically, the sound of the film is good. The director has taken a good out foot from all the departments. The songs are good. The way it is taken is colorful. Cinematography is classy. The background score is good. He wrote the dialogues well. The production values have taken the movie to the next level.
Actors
It cannot be said that Allu Shirish is amazing. Cannot be removed. He showed improvement in acting than before. Good workout in comedy timing too! And the whole movie was carried by… Anu Emmanuel who did Modern Girl. The dust was raised with lip locks and glamor scenes. But the emotional scenes are clear. Sunil, ‘Vennela’ Kishore and Posani Krishnamurali had fun timing comedy scenes. As a mother, she showed her inner actress. Prithvi is okay as the heroine’s father.
