Heart of Stone – first details of the film with Gal Gadot

Between an action movie and a spy thriller, Heart of Stone tells the story of Rachel Stone, a CIA agent involved in international cases. To play the role of Stone is precisely Gal Gadot, known mainly for the role of Wonder Woman in the DCEU. Gadot will be featured in Disney’s live-action Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs – playing Queen Evil – and most recently appeared in Kenneth Branagh’s crime mystery Murder on the Nile.

Alongside her – in a part not yet defined – Jamie Dornan, known to the general public for the Fifty Shades trilogy and for the series Once Upon a Time, was nominated for a Golden Globe for Belfast. Then completes the cast is Alia Bhatt, an Indian actress among the highest paid in Bollywood.

Netflix then released a “first look” clip of the film during the Tudum, in which the protagonists tell a few more details of the expected project: “Heart of Stone will be extremely epic. It’s a super ingrained, raw action thriller … We really wanted to make sure we keep it realistic so people can feel the pain. Rachel Stone thrives on adrenaline. She is addicted to it ”- said Gadot.

Dornan, on the other hand, highlighted the “greatness” of the film, certainly among Netflix’s highest budget films, after Red Notice – an action in which Gal Gadot also took part. The film was directed by Tom Harper, former director of The Aeronauts, the BBC miniseries War & Peace, and some episodes of Peaky Blinders.
