The actor, who has embodied the mighty charmer since 2016, is open to a possible sequel to The Multiverse of Madness.
Doctor Strange is certainly one of the most appreciated and interesting superheroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe: since his debut in the interconnected world of The House of Ideas, the actor who lends the face of the sorcerer, Benedict Cumberbatch, has been immediately excited to embody such a role, despite being a little off his usual standards.
That said, at present, the mighty wizard is one of the few left after Avengers: Endgame, but we’re actually not sure about his future on the big (or small) screen. Although at the end of Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness it is clear that the figure will return later, Marvel it is not always sure of the fate of the characters.

Precisely for this reason, in a recent interview for The New Indian Express, Cumberbatch was asked if he agreed to return as the superhero in the future. His answer was absolutely affirmative. Below you will find his words in detail.
I hope so. I’d like to do another one. Doctor Strange is such a complex character and there seems to be a lot more to explore with him. He is such a brilliant character and I’m still having fun playing him.
We remind you that Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness is produced by Marvel Studios and directed by Sam Raimi (Spider-Man, Army of Darkness) with a screenplay written by Michael Waldron (Loki, Rick & Morty).
The cast, on the other hand, also sees the involvement of Elizabeth Olsen in the role of Wanda Maximoff, Benedict Wong who plays Wong, Xochitl Gomez who lends the face to America Chavez, Rachel McAdams in the part of Christine Palmer, and many more. The film arrived in Italian cinemas on May 4, 2022, while it debuted on Disney + today, June 22, 2022.
