Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Review Who can forget Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa in 2007. While the mixed story of Avni (Vidya Balan) and Manjulika horrified all of us, the comedy of Aditya (Akshay Kumar) and Chhote Pandit (Rampal Yadav) made us laugh a lot. It was Manjulika who later opened the way for films like Stree and Pari and Roohi. This horror comedy film was well-liked by the audience and still does today. That’s why when Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was announced, many fans were excited and many were disappointed.
What is the story of the film?
The trailer of Karthik Aryan, Tabu, and Kiara Advani’s starrer film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was quite a lot. No one had much fun watching the trailer. Nor did anyone expect how this film would be. Now that we have seen the film, it can be said that it is good. The story of the film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is completely different from the previous film. But an attempt has been made to put elements in it like the previous film.
The story of the film begins with a mansion. Where Manjulika is troubled by her soul, the Tantriks have locked her in a room. After being imprisoned in the mansion room for 18 years, Manjulika is free, then the game of running and fear begins. Rajpal Yadav is once again doing wonders in the iconic role of a small pandit.
So on the other hand, Karthik Aryan is trying to get people to meet the dead family members by becoming Roohbaba. By the way, Rooh Baba is nothing but a hypocrite. Karthik aka Ruhaan has to do all this to hide his and Reet’s (Kiara Advani) relationship. Both of them get into Manjulika’s hand in an attempt to save their poles from being exposed.
Great work by Tabu-Karthik
You get the right dose of comedy in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Stars like Karthik Aryan, Rajpal Yadav, Rajesh Sharma, and Sanjay Mishra have done wonders with their comic timing. Tabu is very solid in her character and her work is also good. Kiara Advani has also played her role well. The chemistry between Karthik and Kiara is worth watching.
Karthik is known only for his onscreen romance and comedy and both his forms have been seen in this film. In this, he has also shown wonders. But it would be wrong to compare Karthik’s work with Akshay Kumar’s role. Anees Bazmee directed the film very well. He tried to strike a balance between comedy and horror and was successful in it. Also, the CGI and VFX used in the film are good.
Still, many things make this film perfect. This film fails to keep you hooked. Seeing many of its scenes, it comes to your mind what is happening. It has many dramatic and loud dialogues. And the background score stings in the ears. Not a single song in the film is good. Overall, if you are a fan of Kartik Aaryan, then you can give Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 a chance.
